Sustainable development at l'Angleterre et Résidence

 

The historic Angleterre & Residence has always had a special place in the history of the city. Over the years, it has developed a close relationship with the local community and offers its guests the opportunity to get closer to nature, with its gardens, outdoor swimming pool, and location just a stone's throw from Lake Geneva. Lord Byron, the instigator of a strong wave of tourism in our capital, enjoyed its tranquility in 1816, and the École Hôtelière de Lausanne moved here in 1893. Here, sustainability is written into the DNA of the place. Within these century-old walls, everyone can feel at home. Our employees are continually encouraged to set up new initiatives and to participate in certain local projects. As proof of this commitment, a sustainability project manager is now an integral part of all six Sandoz Foundation Hotels.
